Why Clean Dry Restore
Advanced Moisture Detection
Moisture hides behind walls, under floors and inside cavities. Our moisture meters and thermal imaging find the full extent of water migration — documented for accurate scope and insurance reporting.
Overview
Advanced Moisture Detection
You cannot dry what you cannot find. Professional moisture detection — pin and pinless moisture meters, thermal imaging and cavity testing — maps the true extent of water migration so the drying plan targets every affected material, not just the visible water.

Finding moisture the eye can't see
Water almost always migrates further than the visible damage suggests. A small ceiling stain can indicate a saturated wall cavity; a damp patch on carpet can hide saturated underlay, subfloor and the wall plate beneath.
We use pin-type meters for direct material moisture content, pinless meters for non-invasive surface scanning, and thermal imaging to detect temperature differentials caused by hidden moisture behind surfaces.
Documented moisture mapping
Every affected area is measured and recorded on a moisture map — a documented baseline that drives the drying plan and equipment deployment, and provides clear evidence for insurance of the full scope of damage.
The same readings are repeated throughout drying to track progress and, at the end, to verify that every affected material has returned to an acceptable dry standard.
Locating the source
Moisture detection isn't only about extent — it's about cause. Thermal imaging and moisture tracing help locate the source of a leak or ingress, whether a burst pipe, roof leak, shower recess or slow plumbing failure, so the underlying issue is addressed and the damage doesn't recur.
